Cheltenham is nestled in the River Severn valley tucked in below the famous Cotswold Hills that run for 50 miles in a North-South direction in the beautifil County of Gloucestershire. We are only 2 hours from anywhere important including the sea which is not so bad.

I'm a retired Traffic Engineer, but have always been a keen photographer and totally mad on movie making. Fortunately, I have a keen eye for a good photo and sometimes it pays off. I love taking shots and everywhere I go - so does my camera. I was fortunate enough to take nearly a 1000 photos of the lovely Cotswolds for a website company which Im pleased to share with "Pictures of England."

My wife, Maralyn (58) is a Civil Servant working for the Job Centre. She's a keen actress and a great supporter of our new film company: Flat-Broke Films Ltd where she is my co-director. We are currently involved in developing no less than 4 feature films and 2 short films including LOUISA, a famous 1899 lifeboat story set in Lynmouth, Devon--------thus the many shots I have been adding to "My Pictures".

It's just so wonderful to share my photos, and look with admiration at other peoples' fantastic photos. Great stuff!

Hello again David and welcome to POE! I have good friends who live up Cleeve Hill so we know your area quite well. I live in the Black Country - soon to be moving back to my roots near to Halesowen (only two and a half miles move though!)
