I am going on a tour with 2 other ladies. We are all so happy to visit the beautiful England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.Oddly enough our former pastor was visiting Ireland when he passed away. He looked out of the window and said, " Have you ever seen anything so beautiful?" and he died. The Irish people were very helpful to his family.I have tried to find everything I can on our trip. I know where to get great clotted cream in my tea, what souvenirs to buy and how to just sit and enjoy watching people of another country and what they like to do.Thanks for this lovely site also and all the great info and pics. Penny from USA. Retired. Loves to read and travel. Married for 52 years ( same man) and yes, I married young!!

When are you going to England? And how are you fitting in seeing everything you mention above? You will have a wonderful time, because you are already with the planning and anticipation. Welcome to POE and all the gorgeous pictures on the site. Maybe you will be able to add a stack when you have finished your tour! If you go to Forum - User Introductions and introduce yourself- lots of other POE members will get to know you and say hi. Have an awesome trip. I am so dead jealous! |

I hope you come back from your trip with tons of photos, and share them with us here on POE. It sounds like your pastor died happy, but let's hope you don't follow in his footsteps. Be safe, he happy and join us here again; we love adding new members to our big POE family. |

Your story reminded me of a coach driver friend of mine that took a tour up to Blackpool. On the way up, an elderly lady had passed away, though no one had realised it at the time. When they discovered what had happened, someone had the bright idea to put her in the luggage locker and deal with her when they got back. Needless to say, that's not what happened in the end. |

You will not be disappointed. There's beauty around every turn and wonderful people. Until you travel, drop by here. I have learned so much I never knew just by visiting with the people here and surfing thru the pictures. Hope you enjoy it even half as much as I do.
