AHOY THERE !!!!.............From Patrick Hogan.

Hi,

 Just love this site because I love England and all it has to offer in the way of beautiful landscapes.

For the last 11 years I have been living on a Narrowboat that I bought as a steel shell. It took me 6 months to 'fit out' and I did everything including the putting in 2000 bricks as ballast and fitting the engine. In the Summer I cruise slowly around, choosing certain canals to visit. This year I am heading down the River Severn to Gloucester , then up the Avon to Stratford and will get home to Derby sometime in early october.

Hopefully I will add some shots while I am on the Severn and Avon.

What a wonderful life, drifting through the beautiful English countryside, and also living  in Derbyshire.
