Great Memories...Garston..

I am Richard Evans, Aged 66..livinging in a place called Livingston ,West Lothian .scotland....Iwas born in glasgow , Springboig...from aged 5, onwards commuted back and forward from 80 chesterton st, garston Liverpool 19..which was my Grandad,s house..also Richard Evans..in fact the 4 Generations appeared in the Liverpool echo..all Richard Evans..and i can tell you now, as an only child my greatest moments ever stem from chesterton st, garston ..and later speke, !!...my great Grandfather was a tiny welshman..who lived til 96, and great grandmother 93.....in chesterton st , was Harriet , Hector, Les, Ronnie, Granny, Grandad , Jack ,Olive, Ian, Anne, ...all under one Roof..!!.......next door was the Manns, teddy barbara, and another eight of them..great civil people....you will never meet greater people anywhere.!!!...and of cours JOHN, my cousin as good as my brother, i never had ...my Grandad got injured in an accident on the docks , timber fell out the sling , on the crane, and he was awarded £1,500..for his fractured skull, and other injuries.!!.....the point of this being he still gave £100..too 4 immediate family ,and john and i got £25 each...a lot of cash then 1958..and finally i got a job at speke airport..with a firm called starways it was an airline, and as i was working there the day the beatles left for stockholm,including brian epstein, met them all....if it was not for harriet , my Aunt who worked on the buses as a clippie, and the beatles who were attending college at that point..before being famous, and they got on her bus all the time.!..when she left the buses and worked on the kiosk, in the departure lounge, thats where it all ties in  !!....and don,t ask...i never got an autograph not one.,...think that was 1962........thanks too all you great people and god bless you all..........and John Sutherland...and his boys..all 3 of them...
