I used to sell unusual bric-a-brac in the market there, but now have a new hobby - exploring Greater London and beyond using the Underground system. Along the way I've discovered loads of historical, quirky and beautiful places - all within wallking distance of a Tube station. You can even get to glorious countryside and find fascinating medieval buildings you wouldn't dream could be reached from the centre of London by Tube train.Luckily I am old enough to qualify for a Freedom Pass otherwise it would be rather expensive! My main interests are architecture and photography - and digging out the sort of weird things that make the UK such a wonderful place to live. My favourite: Pictures \| Towns \| Attractions
