Greetings from Windsor UK !

A very good morning to you

My name is Karim, I am originally from France and live in Windsor.

I am 43yo and my 22 years experience in Hospitality - I am a hotel manager - took me to live in countries as diverse as New-Zealand, Australia and Canada.

As a little anecdote, I would say that I have lived for a few years in summer as I used to work in south of France from March to October and Russell - Bay of Islands - NZ from October to March. But "old winter" did come back eventually

I love discovering new places, their history, identity and above all People !

My interests include travelling, creating miniatures on a 1/12th scale - I specialize in the Victorian times -, reading, movies, walking and renovating my home in France.

I am dedicating my year to discovering and rediscovering the United Kingdom and I must say that its diversity, the beauty of its scenery and the wealth of its history and traditions are enchanting my senses at each new "escapade".

I will post a few "postcards" from the United Kingdom in a dedicated thread which will include personal pictures of my places I have visited, a short presentation of its history spiced up at times with a few little anecdotes, which I hope you will enjoy.

My aim is to invite you to discover and rediscover the many charms of a country that has so much to offer.
