Hi,

I have just found this wonderful site today while looking for a place I looked for in Devon in 1958. I concluded then that there was no such place as "Blackberry Castle" but in looking for the wrong thing I missed the magic of the place. Anyway, I found you, and all my interest on wanting to re-visit England, which I first visited after a long sea voyage at the age of 22, has returned. I recently re-married at 73 to an Englishman who will be 80 this year, and has lived here since since 1968. He has never been back, but recently he speaks more frequently of his old haunts with affection. The long flight seems a bit daunting, but I amsure it would be a rewarding experience. How cold is it in May/June? How old is old??Laughing

Hi Judith and welcome to POE from Anna and Ron. A fantastic website and forum as you rightly point out, with many thousands of beautiful pictures if you really don't feel like making the flight.

And yes, it is a long flight weve done it, but frankly I wouldn't do it again unless I could travel  first class and stay over!

Anyway I am sure you will enjoy the POE family members, they really are a great bunch of people, so join in here in the forum, whenever you can.
