I will be staying in Liverpool and driving down to Cornwall and making stops along the way. I am especially interested in quaint, nice, historic towns / villages... I wonder if anyone has any suggestion on where I should make a stop as I drive down south to Cornwall? |

You'll be able to find loads of pictures of them both on POE. |

But if you are starting off in Scotland as you indicated earlier I would certainly recommend a diversion through the Lake District, well worth a couple of days |

Cotswolds would also be good as you go south, make sure to check out Castle Coombe ( said to be one of the most picturesque of Englands villages). Look up all the suggested places here on POE Elizabeth- do take a look at Hawkshead in the Lakes. Your biggest problem is going to be able to fit it all in--- And then there is Lacock !!! |
