Bury St Edmunds is a 20-minute drive away, while the market town of Newmarket, well known for horse-racing, is 15 minutes away by car. Cambridge is 22 miles from Appletree Cottages, while Norwich is 43 miles away. Newmarket train station is 9 miles from Appletree Cottages.
