Just 3 miles from the southern shores of Windermere and Newby Bridge, Ellenboro House Bed & Breakfast & self-catering provides free Wi-Fi and parking. This Lake District property offers two rooms; a double room with attached bathroom in the main house, plus a new semi-self-catering apartment in its own building with a private entrance. The double guest room at Ellenboro House has a flat-screen TV with DVD player and iPod dock, with a double bed and large wardrobe. As well as tea and coffee facilities, there are homemade cakes and biscuits to enjoy. The en-suite shower room has a hairdryer, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. The apartment also has a flat-screen TV and digital radio plus facilities including a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, kettle, toaster, hob, microwave and egg cooker. Hot drink selections, cakes and biscuits are also provided. The bathroom has upscale toiletries, fluffy towels and a hairdryer. A freshly made full-cooked breakfast is offered each morning to guests in the double room with choices including American pancakes, smoked haddock fishcakes and smashed avocado on sourdough toast. Guests staying in the apartment will be provided with items to prepare their own breakfast including continental meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, sourdough, yogurts and cereals. The Lakeland Motor Museum and the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway are both just 8 minutes’ drive from Ellenboro House Bed & Breakfast & self-catering. Cartmel Priory is a similar distance away, and the beautiful National Trust property Sizergh Castle is around 15 minutes from Newton-in-Cartmel.
