Well-placed for access to the stunning Northumberland countryside and coastline, The Turks Head offers accommodations options ranging from double rooms to private cottages. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The Turks Head is a renovated 16th century coaching house that still features original features. All rooms are en suite with a shower, and enjoy impressive views over Coquetdale and Simonside. In addition, all rooms have a flat-screen TV and separate seating area. A buffet breakfast is served every morning, including cereals, fruits and pastries as well as hot options. The Turks Head has its own adjoining pub and restaurant, where the chef has designed a menu based on local produce. Additional shops, pubs and restaurants in the village of Rothbury can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot. The National Trust site of Craigside House and Gardens is a 10-minute drive away. The hiking trails of Coquetdale are 3 miles away from the property, and the Northumbria coastline can be reached in 30 minutes by car.
