"Good capture of exposure on the underside of the kite, and sharp detail, even though the ISO was cranked up to 1000" - Edward Lever(1st May 2014)

Whistable
"Barbara, it is a lovely picture, but at 300 X 400 pixels it would only be the size of a large postage stamp at normal resolution. If you can upload at 1200 X 1600 or larger it would look much better." - Edward Lever(1st May 2014)

"Edward Lever....Not sure what you are seeing but its a normal size to me? Thank you John, love Whitstable :)" - Barbara Lowe(1st May 2014)

Time Travel
"A good composition with the pathway leading into the picture; the side lighting is very effective with detail kept in the shadows." - David Swann(1st May 2014)

He got the point !!!
"Nice one, Vince, very sharp, I like how you've got the catch-light in the bird's eye. This makes the shot so alive." - Edward Lever(1st May 2014)

Abbey House Gardens
"Good shot of a difficult subject, but it illustrates the difficulty of focussing on the bird in flight. Although the bird is well 'captured', unless I am mistaken, the actual focus point appears to be on the bird-feeder." - Edward Lever(1st May 2014)

"Nice scene, but why such a tiny image ?" - Edward Lever(1st May 2014)

"I am fascinated by these quirky buildings. One of the good things about PoE is that you can discover some very unusual architecture from other people's photos. Incidentally, I have now discovered that this tower might have been the inspiration for the tower in J.R.R. Tolkien's books (as a child, Tolkien lived nearby)." - Edward Lever(1st May 2014)
