I am moored just above Houghton lock on the Great Ouse. On my way home now, only 224 miles and 104 locks till I get back to Derby for the winter.

Early Morning Sun, Houghton Mill.

The mill was acquired by the National Trust in 1939. Wheat is ground by a pair of millstones powered by one waterwheel on the north side that was restored in 1999.
