I am retired and suffer from Multiple Sclerosis. I love family history and have written a family, local history memories book for sale in Amazon, called the Mantlepiece Photograph. A labour of love filled with gems recalling memories of Birtley and Rowlands Gill around the first and second world wars. Up into the 1980s. I’m interested in UFO research and believe in an afterlife. Although I also believe in keeping an open mind because that’s how you learn the truth. I worked for Newcastle University for 29 years. It’s a wonderful mixture of medical research and history of all kinds and engineering technology. It has an all prevailing feeling of learning and youthful energy, even if you happen to be from the older generation.
I am delving deep into my artistic side. Now in retirement I want to paint my favourite memories in oils and celebrate the long path of life.
