About Me

Born in Leeds, moved to Ilkley at the age of three until twenty eight, then moved back to Leeds. After a short spell in an insurance office I joined my chosen and happy career "on the buses" and worked for various operators from 1957 until retiring aged 65 in May 2001. Transport writing, history and research remains one of my chief interests and activiites.
