A picture of Bracebridge Standing by a busy road in the Lincoln suburb of Bracebridge is a memorial to the dead of two World Wars. Inscribed initially with the names of 44 men and the wording "In Proud and Honoured Memory of the Men of Bracebridge who gave their lives for the World's Freedom in the Great War 1914-1919 - LEST WE FORGET - Erected by the grateful inhabitants of Bracebridge" to which was later added the names of 31 men who fell in The Second World War and the inscription " "In Proud Memory of the Bracebridge Men who fell in The Second World War 1939-1945" This picture appears in the following picture tours: Camera Make: Canon Model: Canon PowerShot A540 |

A picture of Bracebridge The Anglican parish church at Bracebridge, one of Lincoln's southern suburbs, is dedicated to All Saints. Whilst most of the building appears to date from the 13th century the tower, which was restored in 1893, is a fine example of late Anglo Saxon architecture suggesting a church on the site for over 950 years.
