The front garden at Cruwys Morchard Parish Hall 25 July 2009

A sunny peaceful evening, taken just before a Bingo session at the hall. The memorial bench was given by my family in memory of my parents. My Father was Chairman of the hall for many years.

Parish Hall tables laid and ready for Harvest Tea 2005

Every year the Parish gets together for a Church service, followed by sports and then everyone sits down for tea. Not many big towns have that kind of community spirit. The Ladies Committee prepare all the food. This is paid for by collecting donations from the 195 properties in the Parish. This photo was taken in September 2005.

Parish Hall Commemorative gates

Pictured in June 2009 these gates where made by local Blacksmith Mr John Greenslade, to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth 2nd in June 1953.
