About Me

I was born in the parish of Cruwys Morchard in February 1956. I lived on my parent's farm until I married in 1975, I moved half a mile up the road to an old cottage. In March 1976 I moved to Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire for a year and then moved back to Devon near Ottery St Mary. In 1977, My husband left and I moved to a council house in Pennymoor, Cruwys Morchard, later I bought a house in Pennymor and lived there until 2007. I now live in Coldridge, still in Mid Devon. I am doing my Family Tree and have traced back to 1750 in Cruwys Morchard. I am also on the Cruwys Morchard Parish Hall Committee and we are desperately trying to raise enough money to build a new hall. Fundraising started ten years ago. Recently we were turned down by the Lottery. I organise the monthly Bingo and buy all the prizes. When I'm not fundraising I like to take photographs, bake cakes and do things with the family..
