The Salt Building, Saltaire Saltaire, named after Sir Titus Salt who built this Victorian industrial model village to house the many workers in his nearby textile mill. The Salt Building was built in memory of Sir Titus and was opened in 1887 as a college. It is now part of Shipley College.
