I'm Dutch, 44 and mad about History.
I always loved Ancient Rome and Egypt and always enjoyed medieval and other old European history but increasingly i have become interested in the Dutch Golden Age, the Golden Age of Sail and English Tudor History.
Esp. the last one is my main point of interest and I'm extremely fascinated by Thomas Howard 4th Duke of Norfolk and the Dukes of Norfolk in general.
I ADORE England and upto last year having been four times in London mostly i now have had the pleasure of seeing more outside London, which i intend to do so even more this year!

Other hobbies, reading, music (From rock to classic and fifties swing, i am mad about medieval and renaissance music), cycling, nature, travelling, museums, historical spots..castles etc, learning to sew/making old costumes, movies, meeting people and more..
