The 12th Century St Laurence's Church has been much-rebuilt although the carved Norman doorway of the church is of note as is the rare polygonal apse.

The Greyhound Inn, Tidmarsh

The Greyhound Inn was originally was a 12th century cruck-framed cottage but for some time has been a grade 2 listed pub and restaurant. It suffered a serious fire in 2005 but has now been refurbished and has reopened.

The old toll house in Tidmarsh

Tidmarsh is a small village at the foot of the eastern Berkshire Downs beside the River Pang. The village is on an old Roman road which ran from Silchester to a river crossing at Pangbourne or possible on to Dorchester-on-Thames. It is likely the village had Saxon origins.
