The village fire station This may get confusing as it is called WORTHING FIRE STATION but it is however in Broadwater just off it's green. This station always joins in with village activitites to the cheer of the children having rides on vintage engines the station provides for fun fairs. The Twitterns This alley is used so much by locals as it runs from Sompting Ave to Georgia Ave with entrance to The Manor Sports ground. It runs along back of Beaumont Road it is short cut to other alley systems that can end up taking you the fastest way to Worthing town centre. Broadwater Church The weight of the snow is getting too much for the trees at back of church where many walk wondering the true history that lay beneath them. It is near where this picture is taken older locals tell stories of tunnels fr smugglers that came out & in history books you can read of in fields that was once opposite to this (now Forrest Road) gun fights took place over smuggled rum 100s of years ago.
