Blackfriars Arundel

These remains so near to the Castle in Arundel were given to the town by the 16th Duke of Norfolk in 1935.

This is the remains of The Blackfriars Dominican Priory that is from the second quarter of the 13th century. This is opposite the entrance to the Castle & free to look around

St. Martin's Chapel

within the Chapel sits a Monk studying. Warning this can make you jump as you climb up into this room & come face to face with this sight. My friend from Holland jumped no almost screamed. Still these models show you what life must of been like then.
