I believe my ancestor Thomas Tallmadge lived in this area in or around 1622.He ,and ,several members of his family migrated to Boston in 1631, and,than after a few years moved to present day Long Island, NY.The family has spread across the United States, and , most likely are represented in every state.Having 380 years to do this , made the job much easier.I work at my wifes health food store in Beaufort ,Sc.Also had many years in the construction, and real estate industries.My interests include the American Civil War,reading, writing, and the great outdoors.We live on an island in the low country.This county has over a hundred islands, its warm, and humid,but averages 21 days of sun shine in January, which made it more comfortable than New England,our former home.I can be reached on Facebook,under Tom Tallmadge.
