St Elizabeth's Cof E Church, Bedford Street, Reddish, SK5 6DJ. Grade 1 listed building paid for by local Mill ownwer Sir William Houldsworth. It sits across Reddish Green opposite Houldsworth Mill. Architect was Alfred Waterhouse who also Designed the National History Museum in London, Manchester town hall and many other famous buildings. Built in 1883 at a cost of £20,000 +. The stone pillars for the nave were brought by canal and hauled to the church by elephants borrowed from belle Vue Zue in Gorton. Built from Openshaw Brick

Broadstone Mill, Broadstone Rd, Reddish, SK5 7DL , built 1907 on opening was the largest cotton spinning mill in the world. Grade 2 listed building.

Reddish Mill (also known as Houldsworth Mill) built 1865 by Sir Willaim Henry Houldsworth (b.20/8//34 - d.18/4/1917). largest cotton spinning mill in Europe at time of opening. Designed by Abraham Stott. Sir william was also responsible for creating Houldsworth Working Mens Club and he commissioned the design of St Elizabeth's Church

The Old Police Station, Gorton Road, Reddish, now rented as flats. The stone inscription identifes the building as being in the Lanchashire Constabulary before Reddish was transferred into Stockport / Cheshire.
