Small tortoiseshell butterfly.......aglais urticae

This was one of two beautiful tortoiseshell butterflies in my garden. If you want to attract butterflies and bees, plant a buddliea!

Working from home has its' advantages sometimes! I couldn't resist a closer look. The female is very much used to me, she's been coming to the garden with her mate for a while now. She seems comfortable in my presence.
