Inner Promenade, Cheltenham This photo was taken from a second floor window of the Municipal Offices of Cheltenham Borough Council early one sunny morning. It shows the diagonal parking bays facing the famous Long Gardens on an early Sunday morning in June, 1983 before the bays were reversed. The former Regal Cinema can be seen on the far right end of the shot before it was demolished a few years later. It is now a modern office block. Rolling Stone Brian Jones Bronze Bust The late Brian Jones who was born in Cheltenham on 28th February 1942. His life is remembered by the placing of a Bronze Bust mounted on display in Beechwood Arcade, Cheltenham. The photos show Brian's grave at the cemetery (top) and the sculptor, Maurice Juggins preparing the Bust for display in October 2005.
