Interesting shot, the snow makes it seem almost monochrome. BTW I believe Jane Austen attended the school which was housed in the Abbey Gateway (this is still standing). The Forbury itself was outside of the confines of the Abbey, but I imagine Jane Austen and her friends would have played in the Forbury.
