About Me

I'm in my dotage now, at 57, but remember vividly Yarmouth in the mid 80's, when, recently divorced, I had a second childhood there!
Many nights out at the Gari (then called Patches for some reason) Rosie o Gradies and the Long Beach bar.... Ah to have the stamina now!
And the end of the night was always spent at the Outrigger, which opened for an extra hour, until 2am. With the Outrigger and the Gari now gone, and Rosies closed, I'm glad I moved away. You can never go back, but it's painful to see the gaps left in my memories.
A very special lady called Linda helped to make the summer of 85 through to the spring of 86 a memorable time for me, and I have always remembered her pretty face and loving nature. I hope she is well and happy, as I am now, with a wife and one grandson ( and another on the way). Happy days in Yarmouth are just a memory now, but I will always be fond of it and her...
