Wells Cathedral was built 1176 - 1450 replacing an earlier church which had stood on the site since 705. Often considered as one of England's most beautiful cathedrals, its tower height stands at a modest 180 feet / 55m tall.

I had read about this Cathedral town of Wells in Somerset, UK. It is one of my favorite little towns in the world. This is a shot from one of my first visits to this incredible town/area. Oh yeah, there are many ice cream shoppes in town!

Really well composed and colourful shot, showcasing quite a bit of what makes England so special, it's grand and beautiful buildings, it's old towns, it's cosy pubs! A really great photo.
