One of the many moods of Filey Brigg, captured here in the gloom of a cold and windy autumn evening. Dark, dismal, yey dramatic, the Brigg is ever changing. High Brigg can be seen in the background of this photo looking east, out into the bitter North Sea.

St Oswalds church in the summer of 2001. This church situated on the north cliff area of Filey, is a twelfth century building in both Norman and early English styles. The weather vane features a familiar symbol of Filey, a fish. A medieval sun dial was recently stolen from the outer wall of the church.

A typical Yorkshire rural scene. Rolling fields on a balmy August day, only 7 miles from Filey. This scene was captured from the Wolds Way footpath above the village of Sherburn, on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. In the distance are the North Yorkshire Moors, with the acres of bleak moorland scenery and heather
