Weather predictions revised. Temps cool enough to wear sweaters (jumpers) plus rain in forecast. Now there's hope for an October "spring" with flowers. Hooray! Smile

Grey skies, typically dreary Autumnal day here, but not cold, and it's not raining!

I just got back from my 5AM walk, and its a lovely 47ºF. Temps forecast to get up into the high 70's, so definitely a day to get some gardening done.

Seems the south-west are getting lots of rain early today, with it passing eastwards (and hitting us) later. A lot of rain was forecast....again!

Raspberries are still going strong in the garden though, the fruit is large and they seem to do well with plenty of rain, and a little sunshine now and again. Last year we were picking the fruit right up to November.

Dull, cold, but yesterday it rained all day.

I have just been reading a poem about how people complain about the weather, that there are so many people in hospitals who would love to get out and have some fresh air and a walk in the rain,  so true.

When I was out of action and could not get out and for a while could not walk about I vowed that as long as I could walk about I would never complain about the weather and I never have since that time
