About Pool

Pool is situated between Cambourne and Redruth in an area that was once the centre of Cornwall's prosperous tin mining industry. It is now the place to visit for investigating Cornwall's tin mining heritage, with several museums in the region being devoted to mining including the National Trust Cornish Engines Museum.

Pool lies a short distance from the Godrevy-Portreath Heritage Coast, thus you can pay a visit to Cornwall's magnificent rugged shores, whilst exploring its eventful mining history.
