About Bridge Hotel

Amid the beautiful, peaceful scenery of the Lake District’s Buttermere Fells, the Bridge Hotel is set between Buttermere and Crummock Water. It offers individually styled rooms and a charming traditional bar and restaurant. Bright rooms all have a private bathroom and boast unique furnishings. They also all include a telephone and free tea and coffee making facilities. The Bridge’s restaurant serves a daily changing menu of classic British cuisine and a choice of over 60 wines. Real ales, exposed beams and home-made light meals are provided in the relaxed bars. The residents’ private lounge is used for morning coffee, cream teas and pre-dinner drinks, while also offering free Wi-Fi access. The immediate area is perfect for walking, with the shores of Buttermere and Crummock Water less than a mile away. Whinlatter Forest Visitor Center is only 3 miles away, featuring the Go Ape outdoor activity park.
