About Glaramara

Located within the picturesque Lake District, the privately owned Glaramara features scenic views of the Borrowdale Fells, free parking, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and easy access to rock climbing, fell walking, and mine exploration. All the rooms at Glaramara come with private bathrooms and a flat-screen TV. Each room features tea/coffee making facilities and ample storage. Residents can also access a drying room for their equipment and clothes. A hearty breakfast made of locally sourced ingredients, is served every day in the on-site restaurant, where guests can also enjoy lunch and dinner menus, carefully prepared by the award-winning chef Gareth and his team. Glaramara is 2 miles from Honister, where guests can enjoy the Via Ferrata ’Indiana Jones’ style adventure packed activity session. Honister Ghyll offers activities such as waterfall climbing, tunnel exploration, and plunge pools.
