Lewesdon Hill is the highest point in Dorset with views between the trees over Devon, Somerset and out to sea. The hill is 915ft high, and stands 4 km west of Beaminster and is just over 1km south of Broadwindsor village. To the east (3km) is Pilsdon Pen, which is another hill and is in fact Dorset's second highest point. Both hills are the site of an Iron Age hill fort, and both are under the care of the National Trust.
