About The Compasses

Located in the quiet hamlet of Littley Green in the heart of the Essex countryside, The Compasses is a Victorian Pub steeped in history and tradition. With free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi access for all guests, it also offers a bar and a restaurant. Each of the individually styled rooms at The Compasses feature an private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, a flat-screen TV and complimentary toiletries. In the restaurant, a Continental and cooked breakfast is available in the morning for a surcharge. Muesli, yogurt and fresh fruit is also available. Using fresh, local produce there is also a lunch and dinner menu available. The menu also includes a ‘Huffer’ filled sandwich, popular with the locals. In the bar, a variety of local real ales are on tap. Beers, wines and spirits are also on offer. Surrounded by the countryside, there are a number of walking and cycling routes nearby. Stansted Airport is 14 miles away and Chelmsford is 17 minutes’ drive away.
