Eastcombe is a beautiful hilltop village nestling in the heart of the Cotswolds. It has a rich variety of glowing honey coloured Cotswold stone properties dotted around its jumble of winding lanes, off these there is a network of footpaths leading towards the surrounding picturesque countryside and the Toadmoor valley.

The village has few facilities, but what it lacks in these it makes up for in spectacular views, thus it is of great appeal to walkers and nature lovers.

Eastcombe has two churches, one a Baptist Chapel, and the other church serves the Anglican Community. There is a post office, a pub - The Lamb Inn which has a restaurant and village stores serving freshly baked bread.

This is "Cider with Rosie" country. All the charms of the Slad valley are within easy reach, including the Woolpack Inn immortalised in Laurie Lee's tale. The village of Minchinhampton is easily accessible, en-route passing Rodborough Common, idyllic for picnic's and lovely views.

For larger shopping facilities, museums relating the history and heritage of the area, visitors should call in on Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester or Bath.
