Designed by Bristol architect John Strahan and built between 1731 and 1733, Frampton Court is built from Bath stone in the Palladian style. It has a lavish interior, extensive parkland surrounds it with a lake which is an old gravel pit dug out during the first world war for the construction of Docks. To the South of the house is an unusual ashlar built Dovecote which predates Frampton Court and to the south is a building called The Orangery, fronted by an ornamental canal. Tours of Frampton Court are available. See below for details and contact.
