William Slatter born Abt. 1823 

 

His father   Richard Slatter  and Mother  Priscilla Mills  married 1821 Wyck Rissington Gloucestershire

try this --Richard  Slatter born 1797  Cricklade, Wiltshire,Eng.he was a retired Butcher aged 84 on te 1881 census

Sarah was his wifeaged 86 on the 1881 census bornBilbury,Glos,

address marston,maisey, wiltshire.        maybe the letter "t" was dropped making it slater. good luck.  (paul is your man)

Hi Robin.  What info were you looking for?  In 1844, he married Emma Smith  in Stow on the Wold; had 6, possibly 7, children. Spent most of the rest of his life in Cheltenham where he died 5 Nov. 1906.
