I am from Cape Town South Africa and enjoy the warm atmosphere of especially the countryside pubs in the UK ...almost like home they are. However, would love to hear from you (and pics too), of  warm and inviting (mature) pubs in London?

Hi Spencer. I  notice nearly two hundred people have looked at your request but not a single response! I was born just 50 miles away from London, my parents lived there for many years, I used to drive back and forth twice daily for a considerable time yet I really couldn't suggest a pub to meet your requirements.

I would say that most pubs in London are 'less than mature', targeting various types of clientele and possibly not geared up for the casual visitor. Well that's my opinion, I do wonder if others will comment now that I have started the ball rolling for you.

PS: Do you happen to know a lady called CathyML......she lives in SA also!! Lol
