A strong image, good use of the wide-angle lens, but the pier is inevitably a road to nowhere, perhaps a symbol of futility (sorry being too philosophical here)
I have often trodden on the "road to nowhere" Edward. But, I've always so far, come back again.
I've seen how far the sea goes out at Southport so it needs a long pier. I love walking on here. Very nice shot Rod.
Been along there many times Rod--nice one
Good strong image Rod. Like a wander on pier too when the chance arises
Superb strong image Rod, unlike the others not part of the country I have been to- even in the old surveying days. Thanks for showing what it is like.
The wide-angle lens has created a strong diagonal from the silhouetted pier. I'm another one often to be found on this lengthy structure.
Excellent strong image
