Wonderful picture!!! it looks scary but at the same time beautiful!
This shot really works well with the HD effect Neil. Creepy!
Brilliant photo very atmospheric and moody. This would make a lovely gothic poster. When i look at this photo i expect dracula to pop up from behind the gravestones. Well done.
mind blowing mate. please tell me the location so i could go there,I always look that kind of places.
Really lovely. How old is the church? Picture is just stunning. Mary
Why is it so hard to add some of these to toursites? I have tried several times, on two different days, without luck. I really like this one--haunting, Gothic, beautiful.

Great HDR image, and suits the subject matter bang on. Cracking!!!
Just joined the POE site and very glad I have....an awful lot of excellent photos. there is a phenominal amount of talent out there..... Love this pic. What would look like with a bit of photoshop??? A ghostly apparition at the top of the path or or Dracula-esque silhouette on the top of the abbey!!!! Go back to it and have a go...you never know. . .
Very interesting lighting in the foreground relative to the blackened sky. Special lighting used? Great either way.
So pretty!
This looks more like a painting than a photo. Maybe it's a picture of a photo?
No it's a photo taken 3 times over at different exposures and then merged into a HDR photo via photomatix. Thanks for the comment though.
Very atmospheric shot, simply breathtaking..
A brilliant piece of work!
