Overlooking country fields and the Brigstock Vineyard, The Swallows Rest Bed & Breakfast is located down a quiet country lane in the pretty village of Brigstock. Free off-road parking is provided. The rooms offer super king-sized beds with mattress toppers and Egyptian cotton bed linen, a working desk with desk lamp, free WiFi, 42-inch flat-screen TV, a selection of Teapig teas and ground coffee, homemade cookies, bottled filtered water, thermostatic control heating, curtains, soft headboards, a high ceiling with Spanish lantern, full-length fitted wardrobes with hangers and a professional hairdryer. The bathrooms offer powerful shower and bath, towels, underfloor heating, heated towel rail and organic bathroom toiletries. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, guests can enjoy full English breakfast in the bright dining room. Dishes are freshly cooked to order and feature meat from local butchers, eggs from the chickens next door, and organic chestnut mushrooms. A selection of cereals, croissants and homemade plum jam and honey are also on offer. During the week, continental breakfast is provided.
