About Shottery

Shottery is a small hamlet within the parish of Stratford upon Avon. It contains the beautiful Anne Hathaways Cottage - former home of the wife of William Shakespeare. In Shakespeares day, Stratford and Shottery were two distinct settlements, but today the distance between the town and hamlet has been mainly built over.
