Located on the banks of the Solway Firth, The Waterside Rooms offer free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi and a garden which adjoins the sea shore. A king-size bed is featured in the apartment, as well as a lounge with flat-screen TV and a modern shower room. A fridge is provided, as well as complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. A hearty full Scottish breakfast is served in the separate lounge/diner, with panoramic views across the Solway to the Lake District. Traditional porridge is also served, as well as freshly ground coffee, homemade bread, marmalade and jams. The Lake District National Park can be reached in just under an hour’s drive and offers a wealth of activities such as hiking, cycling and horse riding.
