Like the misty monochrome effect. Also appears to have a Japanese influence. Can imagine a pagoda roofed building next to the 'bonsai' tree.

It shows that 'bad light' can result in a brilliant photo. The mistiness gives added depth to the image. An encouragement to take the camera out in all weathers.
