Birthplace

This tower at Pembroke Castle is thought to be the birthplace on 28th January 1457 of Harri Tudur. Oh you may know him by his English and not Welsh name, that would be the first Tudor Monarch, Henry V11 or Henry Tudor. Henry took the throne but his claim to the throne was very doubtful with others having a stronger claim but that is another story.

My first impression was that the 'whited out' sky spoiled the picture, but in fact it helps to emphasise the only two areas of colour i.e. the flag and the area of green grass. Interesting narrative as always.
