Ringt now (6:39 am) it's wind chill brings it down to 41. Better than the 35 F that was forecast. Just a bit too early to get that low quite yet.

It rains here nearly every day.  I've been waiting for months for the garden to dry out so I can cut the wilderness back a little, but every time you even think about doing something the rain starts again!

It's not the worst it's ever been.  I can remember times when even the footie field (just outside the door) was flooded, and a visiting friend thought we had 'The most beautiful village pond' he'd ever seen!

The sun keeps going in and out like a fidlers elbow. At least it's stopped raining.

We've just had a whopper of a storm here! Thundering, lightning, heavy rain the lot! Lasted all of 20mins lol
