Ruth Gregory Posts: 8072 Joined: 25th Jul 2007 Location: USA | Posted at 03:56 on 24th October 2008 Our weather was perfect today - it got up to 87°. Very sunny, not a cloud in the sky and very dry, humidity on my way home today was 3%. Right now it's 82° and 6% humidity at 7:55 PM.

I wondered because in the US, the east coast, the gulf coast and the Pacific northwest shore areas are all drippingly humid, but S. California is relatively dry, humidity wise, even though it's close to the ocean. How far are you from where the desert begins?
